YouTube is Testing New Insights Feature on Creator Studio

YouTube is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world with billions of users. YouTube is also known for helping several creators share their talent with the world and become famous. YouTube has revealed two new features for the creator studio that are new analytical options. It provides more data on what the audience is interested in. This data will be released based on the search and engagement of the viewers on the platform. Two new elements have been added, Watch Interest and Personal insights. Besides the new additions, the platform has also made some improvements to the Search Insights tool.

        Watch insights

This is the first element that has been added to the creator studio which will help creators understand the true engagement trends on the platform. This will be based on what the audiences are searching for on the platform, what they are interested in, and how they are moving from one video to another, depending on the recommendations. This will give you a better insight into what the viewers are watching related to a specific topic. The announcement said, "Currently, Search Insights on desktop only shows what viewers are searching for, but now, we're adding 'Watch Activity' for a topic." Creators will now be able to review the recent, rising, and top videos on the platform so that you can understand what is new and fresh.

        The audience watch activity on a topic

This is also similar to obtaining more insights about a particular topic. With this element, the creators can also acquire insights into other topics that are related to that given one. According to the announcement, "Often when creators are thinking of a new topic, they might wonder if there is an existing interest in related topics. Now, we share that information with you."

        Personal insights

Besides these two new additions, the video streaming platform is working on giving creators personalized insights more smoothly. This will be dependent on the creator's save and the audience's unique interests. This save feature was earlier available for creators on desktop and now it is made available for mobile as well. YouTube will provide additional engagement data while it will display interest in other topics or niches.
